THE THOUSAND OAKS MARKET MOVES INTO A TEMPORARY LOCATION

To our valued Thousand Oaks Customers:

Thank you for your patience during this relocation. To say that it has not been the smoothest transition is to put it mildly. With the extemsive renovations taking place at The Oaks, it was felt in the best interests of all concerned that the Farmer's Market relocates for approximately 12 - 15 months. We hope to return to our former parking lot in the Spring of 2008.

We know this is not an ideal situation but it is all we have. While there are several vacant
building sites in these areas, most have projected construction dates within this year. In
addition to adequate parking needs, the market must also meet strict criteria from the
county Environmental Health agency for restrooms and food protection. With these
restrictions, it has been very difficult too find an alternative spot, maybe I should say
impossible. It is truely fair to say that we have no other alternative at this time. If we
cannot make this work for one year we may be in a hiatus or closed situation until we can
go back to our old site.

Thank you for your continued support of the Thousand Oaks Certified Farmers' Market.
We appreciate your difficulties with the parking situation and if you have special needs,
please communicate with our staff so we cann help facilitate your market visit. Your
positive and/or helpful comments are welcomed either here at the market or at the market
office (805) 529-6266.

Sincerely,

Karen Wetzel Schott
Operations Manager
